Taking the “ouch” out of vaccinations

www.gatech.edu

Georgia Tech, working in collaboration with Emory University, is developing a completely new way to give vaccinations. Imagine no big needle – just a small patch applied to your skin. The vaccine is then delivered through tiny dissolving needles that you can’t feel.

This is what Georgia Tech researchers are close to accomplishing through the development of a vaccine-delivery patch.

This is just one of many exciting biomedical discoveries Tech engineers are developing. With the fourth-ranked engineering program in the nation, Georgia Tech is a leading force in applying advanced engineering methods to solve complex healthcare challenges.
