hhhhhhhhhh
Dear Homeschool Friend, Thanks so much for your purchase. It is my prayer that these Notebooking pages bless your children and your homeschool. For my family, notebooking has been an answer to prayer. While using Notebooking and Copywork pages my children have become better writers and have created so many beautiful notebooks that have become treasures to last a lifetime. All of my Notebooking sets have been personally created by me for use in my own homeschool. These same pages are in my children’s notebooks. I created them to be used with different aged children, so I have provided both regular and primary lined pages where possible. Have fun using these pages, get creative with them. Add timelines, maps and illustrations. May these pages sincerely be a blessing to you as they have been to my family. Blessings, ~Michelle Taylor~

Ideas for Using These Flags
I created these flags for my kids to use as we learned where all of the African countries were located on a map.
We are big Geography buffs, and I wanted my kids to know where every single country in the world was located, and be able to point to it on a map.
We learn one continent at a time.
We have a geography notebook where we store our maps and flags.
Each of my children has a copy of the labeled African Map and the unlabeled map. They also have a copy of all the African Flags that need to be colored in.
Each week we learn 2 countries in Africa.
I use the Full Page Color Maps of Africa to display on our wall.
When we learn a new country we start by looking at our labeled map and finding out where it is located.

The kids will then look at their unlabeled map and locate the country. They will color in the country with a colored pencil of their choice.
Next, we will find the flag for that country and color it in, looking at either the small grid colored flags or the full page colored flag as our coloring guide.
The kids will do map drills every day to remember where that country is located.
If kids are young, you can do just one country per week. For older kids you can two or three, whatever works for your family.
The kids are responsible for remembering where the countries are located and we have a family map drill quiz every Friday.
We continue the same steps until all countries in our continent are learned.
Once they have learned an entire continent we use Seterra map game to keep their skills sharp. We don’t want to

forget previous learned continents as we move to the next continent. My children can identify every single country in Africa, Europe, Asia, Middle East, South America, and all the States and Capitols in the U.S.
We are continuing this year with Canada.
As you can see, this system has worked great for our family.
Also, if you want your kids to learn the capitol of each country, you may refer to the Countries and Capitols page included in this set. You will just include the capitol along with each new country learned. It’s more to remember, but older students may wish to do this.
This is just an idea what you can do with these flags and map of Africa.
Blessings,
Michelle Taylor
