History

• 1999: A Perceived Need Is Verified

• Started with only $25,000 from two small grants and University resources

• First child in March 2000

Mission

To provide comprehensive assessment of traumatized children ages birth to 18

years and share recommendations to caretakers and responsible persons.

Address the impact of trauma and subsequent changes in the child’s behavior, development, and

relationships

Philosophy

Children who are traumatized are often found to have significant

developmental delays in all domains. These children can

effectively be treated when delays are identified at an early age.
