JOIN US FOR AN INFORMATIONAL SCENIC CRUISES WEBINARON OCTOBER 16 AT 11:00am CDT.
The webinar will be hosted by Jean Haggenmiller, Go Next’s Product Manager for Scenic Cruises. If interested, please email explore@gonext.com
for digital instructions on how to join us.
The Danube River has shaped not only the beautiful European landscape, but also the histories of the diverse regions it flows through. Stretching for hundreds of miles, the river links countries, cultures, people, and age-old traditions. From fairytale landscapes dotted with castles to grand hilltop cities and charming rural villages, there are treasures beyond each horizon.
Board the Scenic Amber in Budapest and raise a glass to the journey ahead at your ship’s welcome reception. Discover Budapest on a tour that includes a piano concert or join a focused tour of the city’s Jewish heritage. Cruise to Vienna—the “City of Music”—and enjoy a concert at Palais Liechtenstein featuring the music of Austria’s favorite sons, Strauss and Mozart. The next day, see the massive Bratislava Castle or the imperial Habsburg residence of Schönbrunn Palace, tour Vienna’s wine cellars and enjoy a Sekt tasting, or visit Belvedere Museum, which houses one of the greatest collections of Austrian art, as well as works by Claude Monet and Vincent van Gogh. Continue your journey with a riverfront bike ride from Dürnstein to Melk, a Tastes of Wachau Valley tour or a schnapps tasting, or a visit to Melk’s magnificent eighteenth-century Benedictine abbey. Then tour the UNESCO-listed town of Ceský Krumlov or venture to Salzburg to see Mozart’s birthplace and visit your favorite locations from the film The Sound of Music. Before your voyage concludes in Nuremberg, stroll through Regensburg or ferry to Weltenburg Abbey to tour one of world’s oldest monastic breweries.
Enjoy all these ports and more as we travel with a meticulously planned itinerary, unforgettable shore excursions, and all onboard drinks—beer, wine, and premium spirits—and dining included. There is no better way to experience the Danube River region and immerse yourself in the history and culture that line its banks.
All the Best,
