“I spent my first three semesters here as a mediocre student who often attended class. I saw no value in my education outside of getting a degree and a job at the end of it all. It is my engagements with Leadership, Internship, and Research...that bridged my transition from that student to the person I am now.” - Garnet & Gold Scholar
The Garnet & Gold Scholar Society (GGSS) completed its third year of encouraging student involvement and reflection in the engagement areas of Leadership, Internship, Service, International and Research.

“Understanding that leadership is a process, not a position within a hierarchy, has helped me to value the power of listening and exploring the thoughts and ideas of others.” - Garnet & Gold Scholar
