Cathy Gale’s passion for painting began nearly twenty years ago while visiting Italy. After studying in Florence she returned to the states and studied under the tutelage of a nationally renowned portrait artist Helen Van Wyk. She then continued to refine her painting skills by undertaking a graduate program from The New York Academy of Figurative Art. Presently she lives in Florence, Italy and California teaching private painting lessons.
