School & Environmental Club Field Trips Activities Correlate with Next Generation Sunshine State Standards

Educational Activities Include:

• Wetland Boardwalk and Upland Nature Hikes

• Wildlife Tracks, Scats & Signs Activity

• Gopher Tortoise and Its Commensals

• Dip Netting Activity in Brooker Creek

• History of Brooker Creek Preserve

• Hands-on Biofacts and Monitoring Wildlife

• Owl Pellet Dissection, Bird ID and Adaptations

• Brooker Creek Environmental Ed Center Tour

Fees are $7 to $25 per Participant Depending upon Activity, Group Size & Visit Length.

Teachers / Chaperones meeting the 1 Adult : 10 Youth Requirement are Free.
