FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT WWW.STANDREWMOORE.COM March 11, 2018
Sundays 10:15am – 11:30am
Participation in Saturday/Sunday Mass is THE key ingredient in helping parents shape the Catholic faith of their children. Children need to participate in both Mass and RE Classes to become faithful disciples of Jesus and especially if they are preparing for sacraments like First Communion or Confirmation. Participation at Mass is required for those preparing for any sacraments.

SMALL DISCIPLESHIP GROUPS
The teachings of Jesus and of his church make it clear that all the baptized are called to Go Make Disciples. Our parish is committed to equipping intentional disciples to fulfill this great commission. Groups of 8-12 gather on a mostly weekly basis to learn the requirements of discipleship. Along the way they become friends with Christ, with each other, and with those Jesus called the least of his disciples—the lame, the halt, the blind, the poor, the naked, the homeless, the sick and imprisoned. This a Great Adventure for which we invoke the intercession of St. Andrew and the Blessed Mother.
GO MAKE DISCIPLES
THE ALPHA COURSE
We like to think of ALPHA as a principal way in which individuals can develop or enrich their relationship with Christ and so make a decision to be his Intentional Disciples. There’s still time to begin the present ALPHA course! Come and experience Jesus as a teacher, savior, and true friend.

All Christians should pray regularly for all people who suffer from infirmities of every kind. But this list is intended for individuals who are acutely ill or facing surgery until they are back on the mend. Names will ordinarily be removed after 3 weeks, but if the illness persists you can call us and we will keep their names on for an additional three weeks.

HEALING PRAYER MINISTRY
Beginning in March, we will be initiating a Healing Prayer Ministry for all who are seeking the Lord’s healing power.
Have you or someone you know been facing difficutlies? Have you ever wished just to be touched by the Lord himself and be healed like the many people we read about in the New Testament? Did you know that St. Paul taught that the Holy Spirit imparts a special gift of healing to individuals willing to use it in the service of others? There are such individuals right here at St. Andrew’s and they are ready and willing to offer healing prayer to all who seek it. Keep in mind that God does not always will a physical healing, but may choose to bestow a spiritual or emotional healing.
Individuals discerned by our Pastor as recipients of a special gift of healing will be available on the 3rd Saturday of each month immediately following the 5pm Mass or at any other time requested. For additional information, contact Fr. Jack.
FOURTH SUNDAY OF LENT WWW.STANDREWMOORE.COM March 11, 2018
