4 Steps in Helping Yourself

Heal

1) Express

• Express your feelings & release them. It’s the recipe for transcending more quickly.

IF YOU CAN’T FEEL IT, YOU CAN’T HEAL IT

• Unrepressed feelings are like not dealing with your taxes. It doesn’t go away & the consequences and penalties just get worse.

• Is the painful thought about the past, present or future?

2) Forgive

• See the whole truth and all the possibilities.

• Take responsibility that you CAN make things better for yourself

• Forgive everybody (including yourself) for everything right now.

• Realize that in order for you to win, someone else doesn’t have to lose.

• Acknowledge that the other person was doing the best that they could do under the specific circumstances that they were in.

3) Appreciate & Accept

• Accept & Appreciate what has happened as if you have chosen it.

• Realize the gift and opportunity in whatever happened. Thank the other person for giving you an experience that helped you grow.

• Ask yourself:1. If you could do it all over again would you still do it?2. Given the answer would you want to know that it

would have ended the way it did?

So many of us hold on to things that have happened to us in the past and we

allow it to become our story without realizing we have the power to create a new story- whatever story we desire. Let

go of the past.

4) Live & Love

• Live for today

• When you do this you are releasing victim energy & bringing yourself into the present moment.

• Give up the hope for a different or better yesterday
