• We need protein to stay strong

• Protein helps the body to repair damaged cells

• All proteins are made up of Hydrogen, Oxygen,Nitrogen & Sulfur.

LipidsHumans need lipids because they store energy for us!

• Lipids absorbed vitamins that are fat soluble such as Bit A, D, E and K.• They help us to produce enzymes and hormone cells.

Vitamins

• We cannot make vitamins in our body, so we must find them in foods.

• Vitamins keep us healthy and fight virus’s.

• We need vitamins to survive.

• They are essential in growth and maintaining healthy teeth, bones and blood.

Minerals

• Just like vitamins, minerals help your body grow, develop, and stay healthy.

• The body uses minerals to perform many different functions — from building strong bones to transmitting nerve impulses.

Water• Water Nourishes the body.

• Water also assists in removing waste products from the body.

• All beverages and high-moisture foods such as soup and watermelon contain water.

• Adults should consume 2 to 3 liters of water per day.
