Folk dance is a form of dance developed by a group of people that reflects the traditional life of the people of a certain country or region.
Europe
Barn dance
The term barn dance is usually associated with family-oriented or community-oriented events, usually for people who do not normally dance.
Kolo
It is performed amongst groups of people (usually several dozen, at the very least three) holding each other's having their hands around each other's waists (ideally in a circle). There is almost no movement above the waist.
Many variations of Kolo are normally performed at weddings, social, cultural, and religious ceremonies.
