OVERVIEW OF EVENTS
Keynote ... Tuesday Morning We are pleased to welcome Jenn Abelson, Investigative Reporter for the Boston Globe as our Keynote speaker. Jenn was on the team that wrote the three-part series, “Shadow Campus”. In May of 2014 The Boston Globe published a very thorough and in-depth look at the off-campus housing issues that are plaguing the neighborhoods that surround Boston’s colleges and universities. If you have not yet read this series AND watched the video you need to make a point to do so. Shadow Campus: http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/specials/shadow-campus
President’s Reception ... Tuesday 5 - 7 PM Outdoors in Paradise Key
Join us in “Paradise Key” as we relax, network and listen to tropical music from Captain Harry’s 4 piece band. And ... we’re serving more than a “Cheese Burger in Paradise” ... we’re serving both hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, tropical beverages and more!
This event is made possible through the generosity of our friends at Tyco/Simplex Grinnell.

Town Hall Discussion Group The idea to hold an open Town Hall discussion Forum was started by The Center in the early 2000’s and today has grown to be one of our most popular discussion groups ... to the point that we developed an on-line Town Hall Discussion Forum on our website too.
This is YOUR Center ... and you set the agenda!
Attendees can share what colleges and universities are doing with their fire management plans, they can share problems and solutions and more. The Center’s 11 Board Members will be present to add to the discussion and answer any questions.
