Introduction

Without a doubt the most beautiful part of a plant is a flower and that is the reason which makes people like flowers. Flowers are also very productive as they are very useful and accessible to give a gift or as a garnish.

Flower

Part of phanerogam plants where the reproductive organs are placed which ones are usually arranged in four whorls (calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium); They come in many different shapes and colors, unisexual or hermaphrodite, solitary or clustered in inflorescences.

Floral diversityEcuador is a paradise for growing and growing flowers. The climate is suitable for growing many species, including alstroemeria, carnations, chrysanthemums, daisies, limonium, baby's breath, statice and liatris species and "summer blooms." Tropical species such as heliconia are grown in warm, moist areas of Ecuador. The varieties of carnations grown include "Norla Barlo", "Charmeur", "Dark Organe Telster" and "Dallas"

Ecuador exports 60 varieties, including varieties of red rose "First Red", "Classi", "Dallas", "Mahalia", "Madame Del Bar" and "Royal Velvet". The yellow rose varieties grown are the "Allsmer Gold" and "Skyline". Others include rose buds "Anna Nubia" and purple "Ravel" and "Gretta".

Distribution

The ideal climatic conditions and the economic costs of production are the distinct advantage, and the future appears promising for the export of flowers. Ecuador's geographical location and natural conditions provide an advantage to the country.
