Scaling Up for Fall of 2014

Ask all FYE instructors to use Introduction to Academic Research.

Develop additional topic specific SCORM packages.

Create documentation and offer technical and teaching support.

13Marquette University

Theory into Practice

Short, focused lessons.

Use conversational instead of formal style.

Offer practice opportunities.

Give learners control, but not too much.

What We Learned

Focus on Friendraising.

Seek Seamless Integration.

Using the SCORM data can be a challenge.

Technology by itself is not the solution.

18Marquette University

Next Steps

Explore blanket IRB for Library.

Examine ways to do this with other introductory programs, i.e. History, Chemistry, etc.

Implore D2L to make it easier to export SCORM data and to support Tin Can API.
