• Homework: Get F.L.E.X. syllabus signed by next week and try to pay attention to your environment over the weekend and notice the amount of times you hear another language other than English. Make a mental note of where you were and possibly what language you heard.

Warm-up: Two truths and a fib

• Independently, without sharing, write down two statements that are true about yourself and one statement that is a lie. Try to write statements that even your close friends in class won’t be able to guess. Don’t share with anyone! Then, we will see if we can guess each other’s lie.
