Kongsberg Evotec AS was established in April 2006 by persons with longexperience from delivery to the offshore industry. Our business lives upto being innovative and delivers complete systems for maritime handlingequipment for seismic, offshore supply and subsea customers. We arearound 50 employees and situated in new and well functional facilities inUlsteinvik, Norway. We are seeking a Logistics Responsible to join and strengthen ourorganization. Our company needs a highly motivated and structuredemployee who is willing to take responsibilities and to have a central roleinto smaller and larger projects around the world. The position reports toPurchase and Sourcing Manager (and Project Managers for assignedprojects). Main tasks and responsibilities:

The Logistics Responsible has the full responsibility for all inboundand outbound shipment activities across the organization (Projectsand Customer Support). Hereunder responsibility for formal paperwork and compliance with international trade and HSE rules andregulations, as well as internal company regulations andprocedures.Responsible for delivery according to contractual terms togetherwith Project Managers and Purchasers.Planning/scheduling, ordering and coordination of logisticsoperations.Single point of contact for forwarders and customers for logisticsoperations.Maintain and commercially drive Forwarder decisions in all projectactivities.Internal and external responsibility to execute our logisticsoperations in a professional and timely manner.Contribute to further develop and continuously improve shipmentprocesses, systems and procedures.Support across the organization on logistics related matters.Assistance to warehouse in relation to inbound and outboundmaterial handling.

communication skills, and have interest into logistics, internationaltrade and contracts.Self driven and triggered by responsibility.Education and degree within relevant fields.Experience from domestic and international logistics handling andtrade.Good contractual and international trade terms knowledge.Preferably with background from similar business (equipmentmanufacturing and supply to seismic, offshore/supply etc.).We emphasize good communication skills in English, written andoral.The right candidate must be able to handle multiple tasks in arapidly developing environment, as well as possess the experience,judgment, and initiative to assume responsibility, make decisions,and take appropriate actions to ensure the successful delivery ofour projects and products.Holds typical computer skills, being comfortable with Windows,Office, Outlook/Notes etc. as a minimum.Experience in use of ERP systems will be an advantage (Vismapreferably).
