• Trade book is defined as a book that is to be sold to the public through booksellers.*

• These include chapter books and picture books and include fiction and nonfiction.

• Penfield Library has trade books located on the 2nd floor in the Teaching Resource Center.

• Common Core emphasizes the use of nonfiction (expository) books in the K-6 classroom.
