What Is A Right?

• A Right is an expectation that someone and everyone should have.

• E.G.- You have the right to protection (This is a right). If I have the right to protection then everyone under the age of 18 also has the fair right of having the right to protection.

• Action is something you DO to go further with something/something to change something happening.

• E.G.- If I take action to build a school for poor children in Tanzania to have a free education until the end of primary school, I have gone further to change something (give children to go to school that wouldn’t have ever had a chance to

What Is An Opportunity?

• An Opportunity is a chance to do something (It is not a right, you don't HAVE to have it)

• E.G. If my family earn more money, they could give me an opportunity to go to Universal Studios...

• A Circumstance is a condition someone is in, or a case that they are in

• E.G. If my circumstances in my house aren’t very good, then in my house it could be muddy and damp...

• This right is being supported by my parents, because in this photo I am playing while resting. Some people in the world do not have supported access to play and rest, most of them are children in child labour/bonded labour

• Everyone should have the right to privacy in any way, everyone should be supported to access the right to have privacy for different reasons. I have the access to privacy supported in many ways, I keep a sign on my door to stop people continuously coming in my room.

The Highest Level You Can

• I have the right to good quality education supported because I have a fair and wealthy family. Some families in poor countries do not have access to go to school, the right is being denied. In some countries girls are not allowed to go to school because of the government. Everyone Should Have The Right to Go To School!

• Action: Being able to go to school

• Denied: If parents or society doesn’t let the child go to school

• Supported: If child is sent to a school and gets a good education

• Action: To study hard, and pass exams

• Denied: If doesn’t bother to go to school, doesn’t study hard at school, messes up in exams

• Supported: If child works hard, takes advantage of all the opportunities

• Action: Kim Saville took action by starting school (in Tanzania) with a friend

• Right/Opportunity: Supported the right and opportunity for children in Tanzania to go to school for free until the end of primary school
