Alternatives

1. No Further Action – leave all RIM in place on site

2. Partial excavation of contaminated soil at or near the surface:• Excavation of some RIM down to a maximum depth of 16 feet depending

on level of radioactivity (level to be defined in FFS)• Excavation of RIM with concentrations above a certain radioactivity level

regardless of depth (level to be defined in FFS)• PRPs may submit additional alternatives for EPA consideration

3. Full excavation of all RIM
