“We need to find God, and He cannot be found in noise and restlessness.
God is the friend of silence. See how nature ~ trees, flowers, grass ~ grows in silence;
see the stars, the moon and the sun, how they move in silence…
We need silence to be able to touch souls.” ~ St. Teresa of Calcutta

guide this new administration and
the legislative and judicial branches as well. Please
guide them to defend all life, preborn, elderly, and
infirm. Also may they defend our right to religious
freedom, especially to the Christian faith whose

Catechism QuestionCatechism QuestionCatechism Question
276. Where does the Eucharist fit
in the divine plan of salvation?
The Eucharist was foreshadowed in
the Old Covenant above all in the
annual Passover meal celebrated every year by the
Jews with unleavened bread to commemorate their
hasty, liberating departure from Egypt. Jesus fore-
told it in his teaching and he instituted it when he
celebrated the Last Supper with his apostles in a
Passover meal. The Church, faithful to the com-
mand of her Lord, “Do this in memory of me” (1
Corinthians 11:24), has always celebrated the Eu-
charist, especially on Sunday, the day of the Res-
urrection of Jesus.

Feast Day ~ February 11th
O Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of Mercy, you are the refuge of sinners,
the health of the sick, and the comfort of the afflicted. You know my wants,
my troubles, my sufferings. By your appearance at the Grotto of Lourdes
you made it a privileged sanctuary where your favors are given to people
streaming to it from the whole world . Over the years countless sufferers
have obtained the cure for their infirmities ~ whether of soul, mind, or
body. Therefore I come to you with limitless confidence to implore your
motherly intercession. Obtain, O loving Mother, the grant of my requests.
(Say your requests)
Through gratitude for Your favors, I will endeavor to imitate Your virtues,
that I may one day share in Your glory. Amen
