Elections for members of the National Board of Directors• On line election ballot opens on Feb 16th.• You’ll elect four members to the BoD for a three year

term.• Members in good standing as of Jan 1 2012 are

eligible to cast a ballot• As officials of the association, board members are

responsible to the membership for the proper governance and leadership of the association. The board’s charter is available online (See Policy 2-1).

Remember—NO CAMPAIGNING!

•Neither the candidates or their representatives may conduct a campaign for election to the BoD.– This means Chapter Officers may not

campaign on behalf of a candidate– This is in accordance with the NCMA Bylaws

and Association Policy 5-12, National Election Policy.

contracting professionals who have contributed significantly to acquisition operations or acquisition policy. The award was initially established with the efforts of ESI International.

Member Get A Member Program• The Member-Get-A-Member program, as currently in

place was discontinued December 31, 2011. • NCMA will continue the practice of recognizing current

members who introduce or sponsor new members to NCMA.

• All sponsors of new members will be recognized annually in the August issue of Contract Management.  

• NCMA members who have engaged in the Member-Get-A-Member program in the past year will have until November 30, 2012 to redeem the credits earned with each new member they sponsored.
