1) John the Baptist

John the Baptist said…

“You brood of vipers. Who warned you to flee from the coming wrath?... The axe is already at the root of the trees, and every tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire… He is going to burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire”

Proverbs 9:10

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.

2) The Fear of Man (or Woman!)

The fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.

Matthew 10:28 - 30
