DemiplanesInthespacesbetweentheseplanes,aredemiplanes.Ofvaryingsize,shape,andappearance,theironlyconstantisthattheyareanchoredtooneofthefourmirrorplanesintheirnature,andeventuallythatnaturebleedsthroughtothosewhoremaininthemforlong.AwizardmakingahomeinapocketdimensionattachedtotheShadowfellmightslowlylosetheiremotionswhilewithin,allowingforfocusandlogicalthoughtwhentheyremainwithinforaprolongedperiodoftime,oreventualdepressionandapathyforpermanenthabitation.Similarly,ademiplaneattachedtotheFaewildwouldamplifytheemotionalstatesofthosewithin.AdemiplaneattachedtotheAstralPlanemightbehighlymanipulatedbythemindsofthosewithin,whileoneattachedtotheEtherealPlanemightremaininaconstantstatenomatterhowhardthosewithintrytochangeoralterit(suchaswithbagsofholding).Veryrareplanesareanchoredperfectlybetweenthefour,resemblingtheMaterialPlanealmostprecisely.

BeyondtheShroudSurroundingthesefiveplanesandtheirdemiplanesistheShroudofPeace,apowerfulbarrierpreventingtheescapeofthosewithintheplane.WhilethereisavastmultiversebeyondtheShroud,itremainsapowerfulforceofprotectionforthosewithin,preventingmostbeingsfromentering.WhiletheoccasionalDemonorExilefindssomewaytoslipthrough,thisisrareandoftenhasworldwideimplicationsovertime.
