Designed for Design Engineers
The Engineering Design Show was launched in order to meet the needs of a very important and hardto reach audience - design engineers.
2014 was a huge success with over 4,000 visitors engaging with the 200 exhibitors over two days. Now in its fourth year, the Engineering Design Show has cemented it's position as the UK's only eventdedicated to all aspects of engineering design. Also from last year its conference and workshopscontent were deemed worthy to qualify for CPD points
Here is the 2014 show in the key numbers:
39% of visitors were seeking specific solutions to current design problems
71% of visitors were the key decision maker
72% of visitors were attending specifically to meet with suppliers
Like any good design, we are improving with each new year to meet the requirements of our audience.
So in 2015 there will be even more high level conference speakers, even more practical design bestpractice workshops and even more market leading suppliers exhibiting.
When you include the collocated events of the Electronics Design Show and Embedded Design Showthere are more reasons than ever for design engineers to attend, design engineers you need to meet, design engineers with a problem to solve, budget to spend and the authority to spend it.
We look forward to welcoming you at the event.
Ed Tranter, Executive Director
Bigger and better
Design engineers understand the value ofpractical, hands-on workshop sessions. Theyalso value learning about the application ofnew technology through case studypresentations from leading technologyexperts. Together, these approaches allowengineering designers to improve the waythey design, either through better use ofexisting technology or by applying new ideasand methodologies.
The conference delivers 16 sessions overthe two days, including high-level keynotepresentations or panel discussions, on keythemes, topics and sectors with questionsand answers taken from the floor after eachpresentation.
The workshop programme has beencreated to provide 20 technical sessions overthe two days of the event providing designengineers with pratical hands-on learning.
While the conference and workshopsare free for visitors to attend,
space is limited for eachsession in order to maximisethe benefit to presenters andattendees alike. Visitors aretherefore required to pre-
register for each session.
Topics covered in the programme forthe 2015 show will include, but will notbe restricted to:
Fastening & Adhesives
Drives, Controls & Automation
Bearings & Linear Systems
