Critical Evaluation

Assignment:

“Produce a critical evaluation that reflects on the overall process of undertaking a production lab project”

An evaluation that is reflective

Reflection

“Reflection lies somewhere around the notion of learning and thinking. We reflect in order to learn something, or we learn as a result of reflecting.”

Jenny Moon/Gareth Thomas

Critical Evaluation

Does it tell me what you learnt and how you will improve your future work?

Is there evidence to suggest that you understand why reflection matters?

Assignment

Step one:

Understand the criteria

Assignment

Management of process (originality; problem solving and dealing with issues arising, scheduling; delivery of the project);

Assignment

Communication and professionalism (how stakeholders, competitors etc have been handled and how the project is placed in relation to personal status within the professional field)

Assignment

Demonstration of the appropriateness of the project

(how your explorations within the lab project relate to professional expectations, trends and innovations)

Assignment

Evaluation and strategic response to production processes

(utilising secondary research and your experiences, into a strategy for innovation including action points or recommendations)

Where do I start????
