Do we think these Stereotypes are all

True?

If we believe these stereotypes we are being prejudice.

Prejudice is when you judge someone based on what you think you know about them……. like the examples of stereotypes we just talked about.

▪ That’s why it is so important to treat people as individuals

▪ Get to know them before you make up your mind about what they are like and what they can do.

▪ This is called equality. It is about giving everyone a fair chance and treating people as equals.

Equality

Discrimination happens when you don’t get to know people properly.

You treat them differently than you would anyone else just because of one thing about them.

This is against the law!!

The law says that everyone should have the same chances to do things as everyone else.
