Assignment #1Literature Review 

Literature review the use of 3D CAD/PDS and 3D body scan (Max points=200/1000 pts= 20%)

Due: January 30.

Guideline: See the syllabus‐>Assignment #1.◦ Search the use of 3D CAD/PDS (e.g. OptiTex. TukaCAD) and TC2 body scanner. Then, write a report how they work, what are the advantages and challenges, and why important to learn or use the 3D. 

◦ Do not use direct quote from the company’s site. Use academic journals or industry publications. 

◦ 4‐6 pages double spaced with 1” margins top, bottom and sides using 12pt Times Roman (or 11pt Arial Fonts). 

◦ You must include text citations and references in APA style. 

◦ Submit a report file in DOC or PDF to Dr. Shin by email

Final Project

Final Project: Develop a prototype clothing with 3D PDS (400/1000 pts= 40%)

3D scan, model creation, patterns, data conversion, 3D fitting, plot and make a prototype clothing.
