Growth Trends of Primary Energy Sources

As one can see, Spain has actually managed to reduce its electricity consumption, leading to a decrease in production.Losses have also been substantially reduced, by more than 50%.

The share of renewable energy has increased steadily every year.

Installed capacity and production of Solar energy has increased radically since 2005. Spain has a pioneer for the installation of Solar power and projects like the Solar Heliostat in Sevilla is an example of it.
