Goal: • Validate effectiveness of eMINTS PD

programs on achievement of rural Missouri middle school students through a random control trial.

Project objectives and outcomes:• Increase students’ mathematics and

English Language Arts performance and 21st century skills by their exposure to eMINTS teaching styles and technology

• Understand eMINTS PD impacts on teachers’ practice

Purpose:Assist teachers in developing student-centered classrooms, enhanced by the infusion of technology.

➔ 93 Teachers Total ➔ Two-year Program

➔ 200+ hours of PD & coaching

➔ Optional 3rd year of Intel PD➔ 28-hour online

course

Purpose:

Share best teaching strategies and highlight personal learning and student successes.

➔ Comp PD requirement - Year 1

➔ Open to other district staff

➔ Create unity and opportunity to professionally build learning networks
