The Registrar of the International Criminal Court;
NOTING Trial Chamber Vs Decision on victims representation and participationnotified on 3 October 2012, directing the Victims Participation and ReparationsSection (the VPRS) to file every two months, in cooperation with the CommonLegal Representative (the CLR), once appointed, a comprehensive report on thegeneral situation of victims as a whole, including statistics about the victimspopulation and information in relation to registered and non-registered victims(the 3 October Decision);1
NOTING the communication received by email on 7 January 2014 from TrialChamber V(B) directing the Registry to utilize the present report to relay anyrelevant information concerning referrals of victims to the Victims and WitnessesUnit (the VWU) including the results of any such assessments (theCommunication of 7 January);2
NOTING articles 68(1) and (3) of the Rome Statute, rule 16 of the Rules of Procedureand Evidence, and regulations 23 bis and 86 of the Regulations of the Court;
CONSIDERING that annex B of the present filing, which addresses the issuereferred to in the Communication of 7 January, is submitted with the statusConfidential ex parte, only available to the Registry and the Common LegalRepresentative because it is related to security issues and the safety and physicalwell-being of victims;
