What is ERA?• National cross-sectoral consortium• Direct result of work done by library sectoral

representatives• Supports collaborative negotiation and purchase of full

text electronic resources• Open to all Australian libraries: public, school, TAFE,

academic, special and NSLA• Working towards laying the foundation for a simplified

national licensing arrangement

ERA Aims to:

• Make it easier to subscribe and provide access to key electronic resources

• Enable all Australians, regardless of geographic location, to freely access quality full-text electronic resources

• Create collaborative partnerships between libraries• Build partnerships with participating vendors• Develop a framework that supports the purchase of

national licences
