In what way could this be a response to a financial crisis?

Look at the photograph for 20 seconds.

What details can you remember of the photograph?

> The photograph was taken at the beginning of April 2013 in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus.

> It was a festival organised by Cyprus Aid and supported by humanitarian agencies.

> Performers, including celebrities, from Cyprus and Greece offered to play free.

> No entrance fee was charged – it was a free concert.> Instead people were asked to bring donations of dried and

tinned food.> More than 20,000 people attended, bringing bags of food.

> The picture shows Cyprus Aid volunteers helping the massive task of collecting and organising the donated food.

> The donations were stored in warehouses for later distribution to households suffering as a result of the economic crisis.
