Internswillgainextensiveexperienceincoursesetup,handwatering,corecultivation,moisturemonitoring,IPMpractices,pesticidecalibrationandapplicationutilizingvariouspiecesofequipment,aswellasirrigationtroubleshooting/repairs.2017WellsFargoChampionshipEaglePointwillbehosttotheWellsFargoChampionshipMay1-7,2017.Fortournamentpreparations,thegolfcoursewillbeoverseededwall-to-wallwithPerennialRyegrassOctober2016

aswellasfinishingconstructiononthetournamententrance.Internswillbefullyimmersedintheinvolvementofday-to-daycoursemaintenanceonPerennialRyegrassthroughoutthespringseason,workingtheWellsFargoChampionshipandtransitionbacktoBermudagrass.SpecialRequirementsLookingforgoalorientedindividualswhowanttosucceedinthegolfcourseindustry.Candidatesmusthaveabasicunderstandingofthegameofgolf,highlymotivatedwithastrongdesiretolearnandagoodworkethic.Weexpectinternstomaintainapositiveattitudeandtobeabletoworklonghours,weekends,andholidays.DateAvailable2017Season(January–October)
