The technologies used in this project are state-of-the-art multimedia information systems (multimedia applications) that comprehensively embed multimedia content processing, multimedia data simulation forecasting and multimedia network technologies.

The project has been implemented by forming working groups (WGs) for each of the following six themes, for which model systems will be built and verification experiments will be conducted.WG1 Comprehensive Physical Distribution Information System WG2 Education and Culture Information System WG3 Agricultural Information System WG4 Disaster Prevention/Forest Fire Prevention System WG5 Tele-Medicine System WG6 Environment Monitoring/Flood Monitoring System
