What is perspective?• When we draw in perspective, it means that we

are drawing in a way that makes our artwork look more realistic and 3-dimensional. It gives our artwork the illusion of depth (space).

• Artists really embraced this way of drawing during the Renaissance period.

Vanishing point – the spot in a piece of artwhere things have gradually gotten so far away, they seem to disappear or “vanish”
