TRANSCRIPT

My first step in designing my magazine’s front page, double page spread and contents page is to create a flat plan which shows how my layout of the magazine could look.

The colour schemes I wanted to use were either a variety of soft blue/green hues or a mixture of warm toned colours such as yellow, orange and pink. This colour scheme could be used either for the text and style of the magazine, or maybe to light the pictures for my cover photo as I wanted to use different colours to light the face of my model.

Next, I looked up different font types to try and find what kind of style text I wanted for my magazine’s masthead. Coming across a website with several fonts I liked, I have included all of my favourites in a slide, as well as picking out which one I will ultimately use.
