Minimal Preparation Veneers
Increasing esthetic demands have led to the development of ceramic systems that wed esthetics with function with preservation of
sound enamel.
Noninvasive porcelain veneers were initially recommended by Christensen and Quinn et al.

Tooth preparation included removal of the old composite restoration and providing a subtle chamfer as a margin extending linguo-proximally.The incisal
margin was planned as a butt joint.
Bonding procedure:

Conclusion

By using minimal preparation of natural tooth structure and ultrathin porcelain veneers, we can
enhance the patient’s smile without aggressive tooth reduction. The lamination effect of the bonding
process allows for strengthening of the thin ceramic material, and the ceramist can achieve excellent
esthetics through layering of the stacked porcelain.
