• DON’T GIVING PEOPLE TOO MUCH INFORMATION CAN BE A BIT BORINGKEEP IT BRIEF AND SHORT

• Using a font colour that does not contrast with the background colour is hard to read

• Using colour for decoration is distracting and annoying.

• Using a different colour for each point is unnecessary– Using a different colour for secondary points is also

unnecessary• Trying to be creative can also be bad

Avoid backgrounds that are distracting or difficult to read from.Always be consistent with the background that you use.

CHECK YOUR SPELLING BEFORE POSTING YOUR SLIDES.

• Ofen times presenters do not proofread for grammer errors or pay attention to there spell chek witch can result in a lot of blaring mistaks that will distract your audience, exspecially your professor.

CHOOSE THE PERFECT FONT When Fonts are too bold they can be blocky and hard to read at any size

A lot of fancy cursive fonts are hard to read on the screen

Avoid Excessive & Poorly Organized Information

• USE HD PICTURES FOR YOUR POWERPOINT TO MAKE IT PROFESSIONAL

DO’S• Include graphs and chart that shows relationships,

changes and growth• Use relevant images and graphics• identify with it• Use 1 to 2 images per slide• Use shapes to illustrate complex topics
