FeasibilityThe catchment area spans a 35 mile radius in West Tipperary and East Limerick.

Objectives • What activities do we want to include.• What ventures would succeed. • What funding opportunities are available.• What realistic objectives should we set ourselves.• What is the best strategy for achieving these objectives.

Design Philosophy The development will

consist of Sports, Leisure, Educational Well being activities

which we hope will encourage and assist with rural participation

FAI size Soccer/Playing Pitch

Completion of the natural turf FAI International sized soccer pitch.

Recently completed and funded by South Tipperary County Council, we hope to have the pitch open to the public in June 2014.

The use of the pitch is to be accessible to everyone and available for every sporting activity.

A dressing room block with two unisex changing rooms and shower/w.c facilities.

Phase 4 - FloodlightingTenders for floodlighting have been completed.

The lighting system is to be energy efficient consisting of 6 lighting towers.Additional solar lighting around the site is also to be installed.

Leader Grant – South Tipperary Development Council

Community Fund - Airtricity Thankyou Fund – Coca Cola Sports Capital Funding – Dept of Transport

Tourism and Sport. Private Funding Voluntary Fundraising Revenue from Special events.
