Fun facts!- Recognised as a separate species

in the 1970’s

- The River Dolphin is found in the Amazon River

- It eats Crabs, fish and catfish and rarely hunted by other animals

Did You Know - The dolphins start off gray when

they’re young and slowly turn pink as they get older.

- Their final color can be influenced by their behavior, diet, and exposure to sunlight.

- when the dolphins get excited, they can flush bright pink

About The Author My name is Emma Mcmath I am in middle school. I love to hang out with my friends and swim on my free time. I have been on Tide Swimming for 5 years and I play field hockey for Lynnhaven Middle School. I love to hang out at the beach and the pool during the summer.
