Clinical CaseDO on first molar with cusp missing, using V3 Blue

1 A patient presented with a large DO with missing buccal cusp.

2 A Wave-Wedge is placed, then the cavity prepared.

3 A V3 Tab-Matrix is inserted between the wedge and the restoration.

4 A V3 Blue disposable plastic ring is placed to adapt the matrix to the tooth and separate the teeth. The pink Wave-Wedge has been replaced with a larger purple wedge at this point, a job that can be done without removing the ring.

5 After rebuilding the proximal wall, the ring and matrix are removed.

6 Completed restoration before finishing.

7 Completed restoration after finishing.

8 Completed restoration.
