Do Not Walk Disorderly by Pastor Fee Soliven

2 Thessalonians 3:6-10 Wednesday Night

June 11,2014

6 But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks

disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not

disorderly among you;

8 nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a

burden to any of you,

9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of

how you should follow us.

10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not

work, neither shall he eat.

6 But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother who walks

disorderly and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

Romans 16:17-2017 Now I urge you, brethren, note those

who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you

learned, and avoid them. 18 For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the

hearts of the simple.

19 For your obedience has become known to all. Therefore I am glad on your behalf; but I want you to be wise in what is good,

and simple concerning evil. 20 And the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus

Christ be with you. Amen.

1 Corinthians 5:9-139 I wrote to you in my epistle not to keep company with sexually immoral people. 10 Yet I certainly did not mean with the

sexually immoral people of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or

idolaters, since then you would need to go out of the world.

11 But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who

is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner--not even to eat with such a

person. 12 For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? 13 But those who are

outside God judges. Therefore "put away from yourselves the evil person."

2 Timothy 3:1-81 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of

themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents,

unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal,

despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers

of God,

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! 6 For of this sort are those who

creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins,

led away by various lusts, 7 always learning and never able to come to the

knowledge of the truth.

Hebrews 3:7-197 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:

"Today, if you will hear His voice, 8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, In

the day of trial in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tested Me, tried Me, And saw My works forty years. 10 Therefore I was

angry with that generation, And said, 'They always go astray in their heart,

And they have not known My ways.‘ 11 So I swore in My wrath, 'They shall not enter My rest.' " 12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God; 13 but

exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any of you be hardened

through the deceitfulness of sin.

14 For we have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning of our

confidence steadfast to the end,

15 while it is said: "Today, if you will hear His voice, Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion." 16 For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came

out of Egypt, led by Moses?

17 Now with whom was He angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose corpses fell in the wilderness? 18

And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those

who did not obey? 19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not

disorderly among you;

1 Corinthians 15:58"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be

steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord."

1 Corinthians 11:1   (NIV Translation)"Follow my example, as I follow the

example of Christ"

Titus 2:7-87 in all things showing yourself to be a

pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence,

incorruptibility, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having

nothing evil to say of you.

8 nor did we eat anyone's bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a

burden to any of you,

1 Corinthians 15:58"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be

steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your

labor is not in vain in the Lord."

2 Peter 1:5-115 But also for this very reason, giving all

diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, 6 to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, 7 to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly

kindness love.

8 For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 For he who lacks these

things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed

from his old sins.

10 Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will

never stumble; 11 for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the

everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of

how you should follow us.

Philippians 4:8-98 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good

report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things. 9 The things which you learned and

received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not

work, neither shall he eat.

1 Timothy 5:8"But if anyone does not provide for his

own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is

worse than an unbeliever"

Isaiah 55:8-98 "For My thoughts are not your thoughts,

Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. 9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than

your thoughts.
