DIY Calibration of containers Materials-

A bottle (empty and clear) Masking tape (so you can write on it) A bucket 50ml, 100ml, 200ml,500ml etc measuring cups Pencil 1 litre of water Paper towel

Method Step 1 Get your empty bottle and masking tape. Step 2 Cut the masking tape the length of the bottle. Stick the tape lengthwise along the bottle. Step 3 Get your measuring cup and fill it up to the amount of water that you want to have in your bottle. Step 4 Mark a line at the level where the water is. Step 5 Pour the water back into the cup. Check to make sure that you still have the same amount of water. Step 6 If it is the same pour it back it back into the bottle. Check the bottle as well to see if it is the same amount of

water. If it is write the amount of water that you poured into the bottle. Write the amount of water on the line. Step 7 Keep on doing the same thing until you have filled it up to the top of your bottle. Now you have your own calibrated container. By Cecilia
