Public list of disinfectant products which have demonstrated efficacy against bacterial and / or

viral diseases relevant to aquaculture

Managed by the Fish Health Inspectorate

Non statutory remit

Disinfectant Listing Scheme

To apply, products must:Meet requirements of the Biocidal Products Directive

98/8/EC (as amended)

Have been tested for efficacy against:Bacterial and / or viral diseases: using specified

modification of EN standard 1656 and / or EN standard 14675

On receipt applications will:• Be checked and acknowledged

• Undergo technical review

A report of the technical review outcome is sent to the applicant and if listing is recommended we request signed confirmation of

the terms and conditions of the listing scheme

On receipt of signed confirmation the product is listed on efishbusiness
