Operation: STUMP REMOVAL

Situation In a continuation of domestic hostilities, the People’s Republic of North America

(PRONA) has taken control of 29 Palms, California near Palm Springs It is critical to our Homeland Defense effort to retake key geography lost to PRONA. This is a coordinated operation to retake the town Strategic center of gravity is Camp Wilson (29 Palms outskirts) Airfield for airdrops,

resupply, personnel Integrated air defense system negates use of airfield

Mission INTENT: deliver food, supplies, personnel and equipment to support the next phase of

this operation PHASE 1 AIR ELEMENT: Deny IADS for 2 day period 4 and 5 Jan 2009 to support

airfield operations Minimize collateral damage/injuries

Execution Coordinate with supporting agencies for planning and execution of mission as stated

Admin and Logistics 2d Marine Air Wing aircraft and UAV’s will be flying from MCAS Miramar, USAF

Tankers and AWACS will be flying from Tinker AFB Secure Skype available for mission conferencing Meeting space and planning resources available on request at MCAS Miramar

Command and Signal Operation Stump Removal is a joint operation being planned, HQ’d and directed

through the CG, 2d Marine Expeditionary Force forward (MCB Camp Pendleton CA)
