•These timelines are for anyone who uses the internet!•Newspapers, journalists, celebrities, government organizations, politicians, financial institutions, community managers, museums, universities, teachers, students, non-profits and bloggers all use Dipity to create timelines.

Why Should YOU use Dipity?

•Dipity allows users to create free timelines online. •Digital timelines are a great way to increase traffic and user engagement on your website. •Dipity is the fastest and easiest way to bring history to life with stunning multimedia timelines.

Step by Step• Go to http://www.dipity.com/ and click • Fill in the prompt in this window:

• You can use your other social networks to fill out your profile information, but this is not necessary. If you

• want to do this, click on the social networks you belong to and enter your login to import the information.

• Your landing page will show a timeline of your Dipity activities. Scroll down and click “Add A Topic” to start a new timeline

• Choose “blank” topic and give your topic a title, description and picture that represents the topic. You can upload the picture from your computer or add a link to a picture online.

Your Timeline • After you add your topic, it will lead you to this page to add to descriptions

to your events

• Right now, the timeline only has one event, “Dipity Timeline Created,” but this will disappear once you create your first event.

• Click on the yellow button “Add an Event” in the upper left of the screen.
