In Catalonia there is a need of a regional figure to centralise and facilitate the use of HPC

cloud-based simulation & modelling services among the manufacturing industry in order to

boost the Catalan manufacturing competitiveness and focus towards the Industry 4.0.

Incorporation of Digital Services and SMEs to the Industry 4.0 paradigm. S3P Workshop on Barcelona

SMEs integration into Industry 4.0 &

Digital Services towards Industry 4.0

We merge two initiatives around Industry 4.0

with the propose of:

- Focus on SMEs/MidCaps digitalisation activities;

- Awarness on digitalization initiatives in regions; mapping capacities and identifing weakness;

- Model to export to different regions to implementing policies to implement industry4.0

- Share with other regions some relatively expensive infrastructure.

- Align with H2020 funds
