Angles in a Quadrilaterals
• There should be 4 angles in a Quadrilateral.• A angle is a figure formed by 2 lines diverging
in a common point.• Here are some examples of angles
Question # 1
• 1) What is a angle?
• A)A figure formed by 2 lines diverging in a common point.
• B) A figure formed by 5 lines diverging in a common angle bisector.
• C) A figure formed by 7 lines diverging in a common point.
Question # 2
• How many angles are in a quadrilateral?
• A)6• B)4• C)17
Missing angles in a Quadrilaterals.
• First of all the angles in a quadrilateral add up to 360º.
• Then to find the missing angle in a quadrilateral go to the next slide.!
How to find a missing Angle
• First you have to follow this procedure:
• First you add up all the angles except for the missing angle.
• Next you have to subtract whatever number you got from the last one from 360º.
• Finally you’ve got your answer !!!
Question #1
• In a quadrilateral what does all the angles equal up to?
• A)399• B)400• C)360
Question #1
• How do you find the missing angle of a quadrilateral? True or False.
