MAZINAAKIZIGE: AMERICAN INDIAN TEENPHOTOGRAPHY PROJECTINTERNSHIP

A partnership between the Minnesota Historical Societyand Two Rivers Gallery inMinneapolis.

DEPARTMENT OF INCLUSION AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MNHS.ORG

Mazinaakizige is a 12-week paid high school internship for

students who are interested in art and photography. Students

will work with artist mentors to investigate historical and

contemporary American Indian representations and create

a traveling gallery exhibition.

Program dates: Sept. 20–Dec. 13, 2017 (Wednesdays, 4–7 pm)

Location: Two Rivers Gallery, Minneapolis

Pay: $9.50/hour
