Iowa State University Extension and Outreach, Prairie STRIPS, and the Southeast Iowa Agricultural Research Association will host a field day on November 19, 2019. highlighting on-farm conservation practices, establishment and management of prairie, and enrollment in USDA programs. This event is free and open to the public. Free meal provided.

Directions to the Southeast Research and Demonstration Farm: take HWY 218 south from Crawfordsville 1 3/4 miles, travel east on G-62 2 miles, then 3/4 mile north. Watch for signs to the farm.

Registration begins at 2:30pm, speakers will start at 3:00pm. Weather permitting, a controlled burn will be conducted on the farmÊs prairie strips.
